ILEA New Jersey is governed by a local Board of Directors that is nominated and elected by the chapter. At the international level, ILEA is run by a Board of Governors and a full-time management team. The chapter and international boards are volunteer positions

You can attend a chapter meeting at a non-member, at the non-member rate. We encourage you to try ILEA out. You will get the most out of ILEA if you join and become involved in the chapter.

Chapter meetings and events are held at a different location every month - and we cover a different topic and theme. This is so that you can see the latest event industry venues while also discussing current topics, trends and more. Our chapter typically meets the second or third Wednesday every month across different parts of New Jersey

Yes, the Certified Special Events Professional or CSEP designation. The CSEP designation is the hallmark of professional achievement in the special events industry. It is earned through education, performance, experience, and service to the industry, and reflects a commitment to professional conduct and ethics. For more information click here.
